I recently participated in a local disaster prevention drill.
During the training, participants learned about what to do in the event of a disaster, and also practiced using AEDs, fire extinguishers, portable toilets, and cardboard beds, among other practical exercises useful in disaster situations.
Cardboard beds, in particular, are used to improve living conditions in evacuation shelters, and by actually assembling them, we were able to learn about their structure and how to use them.
We never know when a disaster will strike. Through this training, I was reminded once again of the importance of being prepared and knowledgeable on a daily basis.
At STAY Moiwayama, we will continue to value collaboration with the local community and strive to improve disaster preparedness awareness and ensure safe facility operation.
We will continue to implement disaster prevention and safety measures to ensure that all our guests can stay with peace of mind.
