We have added a "Useful Information" section at the bottom of the homepage of this website.
From left to right, you'll find the current weather and forecast for Sapporo, followed by a link banner to a page on Japanese etiquette (primarily for visitors from abroad), and then a banner to a blog by someone who travels around Hokkaido eating spicy miso ramen (this banner is not available in foreign languages).
The Japanese Manners page introduces unique Japanese customs and manners, and the middle and lower sections cover rules and manners at bathing facilities such as hot springs. At the very bottom, we have summarized the "acceptance of tattoos" at hot spring resorts relatively close to STAY Moiwayama.
Regarding tattoos, to put it simply, both establishments in Koganeyu Onsen do not allow them. Policies in Jozankei Onsen vary by facility, so please inquire. Toyohirakyo Onsen generally allows tattoos (information as of January 2026).
We plan to continue expanding the content of our helpful information section to better serve our users, so please be sure to check it out. Thank you for your continued support of STAY Moiwayama.
