We have set up a "Useful Information" section at the bottom of the top page of our website.
From the left, there is the current weather and weather forecast for Sapporo, then a link banner to a Japanese etiquette page aimed mainly at visitors from overseas, and a banner to a blog by someone who travels around Hokkaido eating spicy miso ramen (this is the only one not available in foreign languages).
The Japanese Manners page introduces etiquette unique to Japan, and from the middle onwards, we introduce rules and etiquette for bathing facilities such as hot springs. Also, at the bottom, we have summarised tattoo policy for hot springs relatively close to STAY Moiwayama.
To briefly explain, both Koganeyu Onsen facilities do not allow tattoos. Jozankei Onsen facilities have different policies, so please inquire. Hoheikyo Onsen generally allows tattoos (as of January 2026).
We plan to continue expanding the content of the Useful Tips section to make it more useful to our users, so please be sure to check it out. We hope you will continue to support STAY Moiwayama.
