As early summer arrives, Hokkaido enjoys pleasant weather. While we experienced record-breaking heat for this time of year once in June, temperatures have recently returned to what is typical of Hokkaido. However, in many parts of the world, record-breaking heat waves and extreme temperatures are occurring, posing a threat to human life. We sincerely hope that everyone will take good care of themselves.
The other day, a guest from Poland gave me a wonderful gift: a miniature model of the nostalgic "FSO 125p."
FSO is a leading Polish automobile manufacturer, and this model is a classic car that was popular in the 70s and 80s. I was so touched by this wonderful gift, and I was deeply moved by the thoughtfulness of the gift.
Although the miniature cars themselves are small, these souvenirs allowed us to feel closer to a part of Polish culture and history, and fostered deeper connections with our guests. Above all, I am happy that we were able to create lasting memories for each other.
